This weekend, my twin sister came to visit me here in San Diego, and although this visit was cut much too short we made the best of it! Amidst studying for a Bio midterm, we made it to the heavenly goodness of Tacos El Gordo. If I had to describe this deliciousness in one word, I wouldn't be able to. It deserves more than just one word, it deserves all the "yummers, drool, mmmmmm, nomnoms" it can get. These tacos are seriously the best I've ever had. The one pictured above is called Adobada (spicy pork) and is a definite favorite of mine.
I got the classic Carne Asada tacos, and that did not disappoint either! I'd just like to say kudos to my friends, Jerry, Emalie, & Aurora for taking me here! And if you're in the San Diego area, it's definitely worth the drive to make a trip down to National City! Just in case you'd like to go, here's the address:
